The Legal Function provides opportunities for legal searches and eDiscovery across users and tags. A typical use of the function is when building a legal case, where all correspondence related to a context needs to be identified and collated.

Just like the system administrator, the Legal Role is granted to a small subset of users, and normally only on demand. All user actions performed in the Legal Module is logged. The module can be configured for multi-layer access, i.e. Only Search (opening emails requires permission), Private Mails Excluded, Search and Read etc.
